The Department of Education, Delhi has released the official sports calendar for the academic year 2025-26. All schools are requested to mark the dates and prepare their teams accordingly. Important dates include Athletics Championship in February, Swimming in March, and Basketball Tournament in April.

Registration is now open for the upcoming Khelo India Youth Games. Eligible students can register through their school sports coordinators. The last date for registration is March 31, 2025. Students from all districts are encouraged to participate.

Updated guidelines for conducting inter-school sports competitions have been issued by the Department of Education. Schools must ensure all safety protocols are followed, proper medical facilities are available, and parental consent forms are collected before participation.

The annual award ceremony recognizing outstanding athletes will be held on April 15, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The ceremony will honor medal winners and record-breaking athletes. Invitations will be sent to schools shortly.

The Delhi Government has approved a special grant for sports equipment for all government schools. Schools can submit their requirements through the official portal by March 20, 2025. Priority will be given to schools with limited sports facilities.
